Network Security Technician - Service Desk
This is an ideal position for technology professionals passionate about network security and management.
Responsibilites
- Monitoring event logs from client's networks
- Escalate security and outage issues to customers per managed security SLA
- Basic troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Escalation of various support cases
- Hands on tuning of devices
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2+ years Help Desk experience, supporting security, network (Cisco) or server/desktop technology
- MIS, Technical undergraduate degree (EE, ME, CE, CIS) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of IP addressing and basic troubleshooting
- Capability & interest in learning new technologies
- Strong professional vocabulary and ability to communicate with clients courteously and professionally
- Strong writing skills to produce professional case documentation.
