Network Security Technician - Service Desk

This is an ideal position for technology professionals passionate about network security and management.

Responsibilites

  • Monitoring event logs from client's networks
  • Escalate security and outage issues to customers per managed security SLA
  • Basic troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Escalation of various support cases
  • Hands on tuning of devices

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Help Desk experience, supporting security, network (Cisco) or server/desktop technology
  • MIS, Technical undergraduate degree (EE, ME, CE, CIS) or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of IP addressing and basic troubleshooting
  • Capability & interest in learning new technologies
  • Strong professional vocabulary and ability to communicate with clients courteously and professionally
  • Strong writing skills to produce professional case documentation.
